The baby, their first child, was born at the Hospital Seven Hills. Mother and daughter were both fine.

"It's a Girl!», Abhishek, 35, posted on Twitter. He recently said he wanted a daughter who looked like Aishwarya.

Proud grandfather of Amitabh Bachchan too could not control his happiness and wrote: ". DADA I AM the cutest little girl, A Dada ji ... Ecstatic "

Hospital sources said that the delivery was normal and he came a few minutes before 10 am Families and Rai Bachchan was present for the momentous event.

Aishwarya, 38, developed labor pains around 4 a.m. and transferred to the labor room, where the delivery took place after almost six hours.

The actress is on the fifth floor of the luxurious private hospital in Andheri east.

The hospital had booked three rooms on the floor - one for Aishwarya, the other for the Bachchan family and the third family Rai. The entire floor was kept off limits to all but the two families.

The hospital has been under tight security for the last three days in expectation of the newest family member Bachchan.

Aishwarya was hospitalized Monday night, according to the representative.

The Bachchan family awaited the arrival of the baby for a few days and prepare for the reception of the child.

The girl is Amitabh and third grandchild Jaya Bachchan, after Agastya and Navya Naveli - children of his daughter Shweta and son-in-law Nikhil Nanda.

Aishwarya tied the knot with Abhishek in April 2007 and rumors of her pregnancy have made the rounds since.

In June this year, when Amitabh announced her pregnancy via Twitter, grabbed the headlines.

A 10-point advisory by the Association of Broadcast Editor (BEA) reportedly asked by a television channel heads to restrict the media on high-profile delivery.

White LED Light Dangerous

White LED light is more dangerous than orange and yellow ones, says a new study. According to the study, the exposure to white LED bulbs suppresses the production of melatonin in human brain. This can affect our biological clock as against the exposure of orange-yellow LED light bulbs.

An ANI report talking about the study said that Melatonin is responsible for adjusting our biological clock and is known for its anti-oxidant and anti-cancerous properties. Suppressing the production of melatonin causes health-related issues and behaviour disruptions.

The study was conducted by the astronomers, physicists and biologists from ISTIL- Light Pollution Science and Technology Institute in Italy, the National Geophysical Data Centre in Boulder, Colorado, and the University of Haifa. According to the ANI report, researchers had examined the differences in melatonin suppression in a various types of light bulbs, primarily those used for outdoor illumination, such as streetlights, road lighting, mall lighting and the like, for the first time.

The researchers found that the metal halide bulb, which gives off a white light, suppresses melatonin at a rate more than three times greater than the high-pressure sodium HPS bulb that gives off orange-yellow light. Metal Halide bulbs are used as stadium lights. The white LED bulb was found suppressing melatonin at a rate more than five times higher than the HPS bulb.

The report quoted researcher as saying, “The current migration from the now widely used sodium lamps to white lamps will increase melatonin suppression in humans and animals.” The study recently appeared in the Journal of Environmental Management.
